What Are Carrier-Limited Addresses?

Carrier-limited addresses are destination addresses that can only use certain carrier services. Examples of these addresses include PO Boxes, military bases, prisons, etc.

For instance, PO Box addresses cannot be delivered to by non-USPS services like UPS and we therefore have to send using a service that leverages USPS as the final mile delivery service.

How Does This Impact Your Pricing?

If a different ship option is selected than the one that can deliver to a carrier-limited address, ShipBob must override the shipping option to select it.

For instance, if your order's address is a PO Box and the shipping option selected is UPS Ground, we'll have to override and select USPS and price accordingly, which may be different or more expensive than UPS Ground would have been.
