If you are shipping fragile items, please make sure each fragile item is marked correctly on the product details page. For all orders containing items marked as fragile, you can expect the following:
Orders containing fragile items will be shipped in one of ShipBob standard boxes as determined by our box algorithm. Fragile items will not be shipped in bubble mailers/poly mailers. If you are shipping in custom boxes, we will use these boxes to pack the order. Important Note: Please prevent orders containing fragile items from being shipped in custom mailers of any kind. ShipBob will not be responsible for any damaged items due to this setup.
We will add dunnage (brown paper filler-see below) to the order.
If the product is a glass product, we will add one layer of Geami (see below) around the product to protect it.
If the product contains liquid, but is not in a glass container, it will be wrapped with dunnage.
For all orders containing items marked as fragile, we will display the following alert to ensure our associates are handling them with extra care.
