ShipBob allows merchants the ability to delay the import of orders syncing in from Shopify. For order management, this gives you the ability to help with customization, cancelling, and address changes, before importing orders into the ShipBob dashboard. This is supported for the Shopify integration ONLY.

Important Notes:

  • Once a timed delay is set, this will apply to all orders importing from the Shopify store enabled.

  • This feature is only available if auto-fetch is on. To turn on auto-fetch please go to Quick Setup - Account settings - Feature (select checkbox) - Save

  • Current time options available to choose from: 30 minutes, 1 hour, 2 hours. 3 hours, 6 hours, 12 hours, 24 hours, No Delay (default option)

  • The option to manually sync orders is still available when an import delay has been enabled. To manually sync orders go to Orders - Sync orders - Fetch orders (store) - Select order by checkbox - select ship it

  • Once this feature is enabled on a specific Shopify store, this will delay the time when orders get imported - Example: if time delay is set to 12-hours and there is an order created in Shopify at 1:30 pm, we will import that order at 1:30 am.

To delay the import of orders on your account, please follow the steps described below:

Step 1: From the ShipBob dashboard click Account Settings > Store Management

Step 2: Under the Store Management tab select which Shopify store you want the order delay to be enabled by choosing from the time delays in the drop-down. Once a time is selected then click Save Changes

To disable this feature, simply select No Delay in the drop down and click Save Changes.
