[FedEx: All Inbound Service to Shanghai (PVG) is Suspended Until Further Notice] Friday, 4/8
Due to the COVID-19 lockdown in Shanghai, China, and the current limited operations at Shanghai Pudong International Airport (PVG), all inbound services are suspended from the global regions into Shanghai (PVG) until further notice.
All shipments destined to PVG that are currently in transit via our network, including those we collected as of Apr. 8, 2022, will be returned to sender or held at origin. Shipments will be returned free of charge via our Economy service option.
Currently, UPS and DHL have also temporarily suspended inbound service to Shanghai – China East.

[FedEx Temporarily Suspends Southern China] Tuesday, 3/15
Effective immediately, Shenzhen government authorities announced mandatory COVID testing between Mar. 14–20, 2022. This mandatory testing throughout the Shenzhen population is an effort to stem the COVID-19 epidemic outbreak.
To accommodate these new local regulations, all FedEx and TNT outbound services from Shenzhen are suspended until further notice. For inbound shipments, there will be at least a seven-day service delay.
In addition, other cities in China South (CNS) and China North (CNN) are under lockdowns.
South China:
Dongguan city (between Guangzhou and Shenzhen) is in partial lockdown.
Public transport is suspended.
FedEx is operating on the ground; however, staff movement is impacted.
Service impacts to customers will be assessed throughout the week.
Cross border movement between Hong Kong and Southern China is limited to essential goods.
North China:
Qingdao (1 station), Changchun, and Lanfang (near Tianjin) are also under lockdown with Pickup/Delivery services suspended.
We will continue to monitor the situation and will resume normal operations as conditions allow.

The current weather forecast for Thursday night into Friday morning is a mixture of rain, ice and snow throughout the SW, Midwest, and NE region, ultimately disrupting supply chains and delaying operations. We will continue to monitor the situation closely and provide updates as needed.
[Winter Storm Landon] Thursday, 2/3
Multiple regions have been hit with severe weather conditions. Throughout the NE, Midwest, and Southwest are all experiencing the aftermath of Winter Storm Landon. While we are monitoring closely, we do anticipate service disruptions.
[Driver Protest: Ottawa, Canada] Monday, 1/31
Currently, there is a truck convoy in Ottawa, Canada protesting the COVID-19 Mandates. These are all independent drivers and not any national carriers. This will affect time in transit and deliveries into the Ottawa area. It will also affect the Canada Post pickup today; however, FedEx is still picking up today. Will advise more during the course of this week if anything changes.
[NE Weather Alert due to blizzard conditions] Friday, 1/28
We will be anticipating delays within the NE region as they are expecting up to 18 inches of snow due to blizzard conditions that could disrupt supply chains. We will monitor operations closely and provide updates as needed.

[USPS Temp. Suspends Priority Shipping to China] Thursday, 1/27/22
The United States Postal Service (USPS) will temporarily suspend Priority Mail International (PMI) package acceptance to China effective January 28, 2022, until further notice due to unavailable transportation related to the COVID-19 pandemic.
[USPS Delays in Memphis, TN] Monday, 1/24/22
Due to safety procedures from building damage, the Samsung office that services Memphis will be suspended until further notice. USPS is anticipating delays for upwards of 2 weeks.

[FedEx Express & Canada Post Holiday Schedule] Monday, 1/3/22
Canada Post and FedEx Express will not be picking up on Monday, 1/3/22 in lieu of New Years Day falling on the weekend.
However, FedEx Ground will be continuing operations.
[Canada Post Holiday Schedule] Monday, 12/27
Canada Post will be closed on December 27 and 28 for Christmas and Boxing Day, as well as January 3 for New Year’s Day with no regular collection or delivery of mail on these days. Corporate post office locations will be closed, but post offices operated in authorized franchise locations may be open according to the hours of service of the host business.
[British Columbia Weather Delays ] Friday, 12/17
Although there have been improvements to the infrastructure in the province of British Columbia, shipments are still experiencing significant transit delays.
The Coquihalla Highway is set to reopen to commercial trucks on Monday December 20th which will help shipments move more frequently into the province.
Canada Post is accepting packages destined for BC but anticipating two week delays at the minimum.
UPS and FedEx Express are accepting small packages for BC but anticipating transit delays. The good news is that FedEx Ground has started accepting additional volume destined for BC.
We are still in communication with all the carriers on a daily basis so we may offer our customers the most up-to-date information.
[Regional Carrier LSO ] Monday, 12/13
As we continue to monitor carrier performance, we have made the decision to disable our SW regional carrier LSO from our DFW network effective immediately. Due to slow transit times, we will divert our volume to carriers that are performing to our expectations during peak. After Christmas, we will revisit once LSO can confirm their dock congestion has been cleared. Once again, this will be at no additional cost to our merchants. [USPS Tracking Updates] Friday, 12/10
USPS has been experiencing internal processing errors, causing their tracking system to crash. This is ultimately impacting transit updates. Packages that may have been processed, are in transit, or already delivered may not have any tracking updates on the carrier portal. Any packages that may be moving un-manifested will eventually have tracking updated through the USPS portal. Regional carriers LSO and CDL are experiencing processing delays in the SW and NE region. Due to peak season congestion, there is a 1-2 delay in transit times. We are monitoring the congestion closely, and will be updating accordingly as further information becomes available

Due to peak season capacity restraints, UPS MI is having processing delays within the NE region due to station congestion. [British Columbia Weather Delays] Thursday, 11/18
Due to extreme rain, flooding, and mudslides throughout Southern British Columbia, multiple highways in the area are inaccessible. The province of BC has declared a state of emergency.
As a result, small parcel and LTL carriers are experiencing shipping delays. We will continue to monitor updates from the carriers and keep our customers informed as more information becomes available.

[DHL Delays in AUS - Update] Monday, 10/25
AUS is experiencing the impacts of COVID -- Limited staffing of essential workers at customs and Australian posts. 75%+ of the available inbound flights are still non-operable, national trucking and labor strikes also contributing, while there is a national lockdown status. Many foreign posts have suspended exports to Australia.
DHL’s Parcel International Direct traffic is still moving and getting delivered in Australia. However, this week we have seen transit from 12 days to 29 days across Australia. PLT is the best option at this time for an economy shipping option. Service expectations should be 12-21 days to AUS right now.

[Delays into Australia] Starting August 11, 2021
Australia Post advises that its daily operations are being affected by government measures aimed at preventing spread of COVID-19. There are impacts to processing and delivery of inbound and outbound mail items. There are border closures and lockdowns in place across the country, including lockdowns in two major states, Victoria and New South Wales, where the processing and delivery of mail items is being significantly impacted.

[DHL Service Points Expiring] Starting July 25, 2021
