Cymbio is a marketplace and dropship automation platform with hundreds of retailer connections, including exclusive partnerships with a number of dropshipping sales channels. Cymbio can help you grow your retail business and leverage a direct connection with ShipBob by automating dropship order fulfillment from retailer partner websites.

Overview

With the Cymbio & ShipBob integration, you can now connect your retail business operations directly to ShipBob. This is extremely useful when you are working with multiple retailers but do not want to maintain the relationships across multiple mediums which usually require a lot of manual operations. Cymbio can become a one-stop shop for expanding the retail channels that you sell on, including inventory and order management, as well as invoicing. Cymbio connects to retailers such as Nordstrom, Neiman Marcus Walmart etc. and automates all processes and documentation back to ShipBob. These documents include purchase orders and advance shipment notices. The electronic data interchange will happen automatically and seamlessly in the background without any manual intervention from the merchant.

Cymbio connects to ShipBob through API, so you can leverage Cymbio’s additional features, such as ERP connectivity.

Setting up Cymbio <> Shipbob Connection:

Make sure the retailer is approved by ShipBob before proceeding with steps. Please reach out to your merchant success manager if you have any questions about this.

  1. Merchant will need to be a Cymbio customer.

  2. ShipBob will collect onboarding information such as third party billing, identifying SKUs and inventory, and more.

  3. Shipbob and Cymbio will complete testing between both parties (merchant participation is not needed).

  4. Once testing is completed, ShipBob will communicate with the merchant on a go-live date. On the date of go-live, the automation system will be turned on so that orders and advance shipping notices will be generated and sent without the merchant having to touch anything in either system.

  5. Note: Cymbio handles invoicing with the retailer.
