If you have an order that is currently in Exceptions because of one item being out of stock, you can split the order to have the products that are available shipped! Once the missing product arrives via a WRO then the rest of the order will be processed.
How to split an exception order
1. Go to your Exception Orders:
2. Check the box to the left of the order you wish to have split:
3. Go to the red "Actions" tab on the upper right of the page and select "Advanced Options."
4. Check the box of the items that are available to ship and then click "Create Split Order With Selected Product(s)" This will remove the selected product(s) and create another order with just the selected product. Then click OK.
Please be sure to notify your customer that the order has been split and should expect two packages instead of just one.
