If you have an order that is currently in Exceptions because one or more items are out of stock, you can split the order to have the products that are available shipped! Once the missing product arrives via a WRO then the rest of the order will be processed automatically.
Split an Order:
1. From the ShipBob dashboard, go to Orders and click on the Exception tab.
2. Click on the relevant Order Id.
3. Click on More tab on the upper right-hand page and select Split Order from the drop-down list.
4. Check the box of the items that are available to ship and then click Create Split Order With Selected Product(s) This will remove the selected product(s) and create a new order with just the selected product. Click OK to confirm.
Note: Please be sure to notify your customer that the order has been split and that he should expect two packages instead of one.
