Each year, our carriers (USPS, UPS, FedEx, DHL, and other local carriers) increase their prices. As a result of these pricing changes by the carriers, we will be adjusting our fulfillment fees accordingly.
This guide serves as a detailed breakdown of the annual rate increases from our carrier partners effective January 27, 2019.
Please contact our Merchant Care team or your Merchant Success Manager with any questions or for more information.
We have received the rate changes from the carriers. Please see the price increase information below:
6% base rate increase for ALL International Services. The prices includes fuel surcharge and residential surcharge for 2019.
Carriers are moving from flat rate pricing for packages under 1 lb to zoned pricing, which means the cost will be higher the further the shipment goes. It is more beneficial than ever to save on shipping by distributing your inventory across ShipBob’s multiple fulfillment centers; zones 1 to 3 saw a small increase in price while zones 7 and 8 are now 25-30% more expensive. To learn more about how shipping zones work, click here.
Because of ShipBob’s ability to rate shop, standard prices will only increase 4-7%,which is lower than the increase that would occur if shipping directly through a single carrier.
