If you have an order that is currently in Exceptions because one or more items are out of stock, you can split the order to have the products that are available shipped! Once the missing product arrives via a WRO then the rest of the order will be processed automatically.
Split an Order:
From the ShipBob dashboard, go to Orders and click on the Exception tab.
Click on the relevant Shipment Id.
Click on Actions button on the top-right and select Split Order from the drop-down list.
Select items to remove from this order and then click Split Order. Another shipment will be created with just the selected items.
Note: Please be sure to notify your customer that the order has been split and that he should expect two packages instead of one.
