Integrate with ShipBob:

From the ShipBob dashboard, click on Quick Setup. Then, Click on Store Integration. Then Choose Shopify.

Insert your store name, then click Link Store.

Your Shopify store will open automatically. Approve the installation of the ShipBob app by clicking on Install unlisted app button at the bottom of the page. Note: If you are not logged in to your Shopify account on the browser, you will first need to log in. Please don’t try to uninstall the app as it will cause communication issues between ShipBob and Shopify.

 You will automatically be redirected back to your ShipBob dashboard. To fully integrate ShipBob and Shopify, we need to create ShipBob as a Custom Fulfillment Service. By clicking the button ‘Have ShipBob create a Fulfillment service for you’, we will create a Fulfillment Service on your Shopify account following this naming convention: ‘ShipBobFulfillment-XXXXX.’ Note: You will have to set ShipBob as your fulfillment for each product separately. Click Next.

Mark the checkbox if you wish ShipBob to sync products from your Shopify store.

A green success message will appear on the top-right corner.

Settings:

To provide a smooth and easy fulfillment process, you need to set up your Shopify store correctly. There are 2 ways for setup: Manual and Autofulfillment. We highly recommend Autofulfillment that will ensure we only fulfill products marked as ShipBob Fulfillment.

Autofulfillment - Recommended

  1. Set your Shopify account to automatically fulfill orders:  From your Shopify admin page > click on Settings > Checkout > Order Processing > After an order has been paid. Mark the option ‘Automatically fulfill the order‘s line items.’ Optionally, you may select ‘Notify customers of their shipment.’
  2. Set your Products with ShipBob as a fulfillment service. Note: You will need to update each product/variant** separately.   From your Shopify admin page > Click on Products

On the page for each product (or product variant), scroll down to the Inventory Panel. Under Inventory is managed by select the Fulfillment Service created on the ShipBob app (“ShipBobFulfillment-XXXXX”).

Product Variant: You add variants to a product that comes in more than one option, such as size or color. Each combination of options for a product is a variant for that product.

Manual

  1. Set your Products with ShipBob as a fulfillment service. Note: You will need to update each product/variant separately.  From your Shopify admin page > Click on Products. On the page for each product (or product variant), scroll down to the Shipping Panel. Under Fulfillment Service select the Fulfillment Service created on the ShipBob app (“ShipBobFulfillment-XXXXX”). **ShipBob will fulfill products with any Fulfillment Service assigned, but we will only be able to upload tracking correctly for products with the ShipBob Fulfillment Service assigned.
  2. ShipBob dashboard: Mark all items you do not want ShipBob to fulfill as ‘Digital’. Note: If you don’t mark items as digital on the ShipBob dashboard, we will fulfill them.
