Using the shipment details page you can view and edit specific orders. Use this page to check your order status, see a detailed timeline, edit customer information or order items and perform various actions.

The shipment details page has seven different panels:  

  • Shipment Timeline  
  • Shipment Details   
  • Shipment Breakdown  
  • Customer Information
  • ShipBob Shipping Details  
  • Order Import Details
  • Attachments

Additional actions that can be done from the order details page:

From the ShipBob dashboard, click on Orders.  Click on the relevant Shipment ID to see the shipment details page. 

Shipment Timeline: 

In the top panel, you can see the shipment ID, current status and timeline. 

Once an shipment has a tracking ID (the shipment moves to status Shipped) we will, by default, display a timeline with information updates we receive from the carrier. You can easily expand to view the previous timeline by clicking Picked..Labeled link.

To view the detailed timeline, click View Detailed Timeline. 

Shipment Details:

In this panel, you can view all items that are in the shipment including their quantities and serial number (if exists). Use this panel to add items or remove them from the order (only available until the shipment is picked).

Once the order is picked a lock icon will appear on the top-right side of the panel and you can no longer edit or make any changes to the shipment. After the order is picked, you can see the serial number and Lot number (if exists). 

Shipment Breakdown:

In this panel, you can see the following details:

  • Chosen carrier service 
  • Shipment dimensions and weight 
  • Tracking number: Click the tracking number to open the carrier website and detailed information. Note: You can also reach the tracking link from the top part of the shipment details page. 
  • Destination country 
  • Fulfillment cost: Click on View pricing breakdown for detailed pricing info. 

Here you can also see any associated shipments (if exists) by clicking the link at the bottom of the panel. Associated shipments can be either split shipments or returns.
 
Note: This information will only populate after a tracking number is generated. Until then, you will see the following message:

Customer Information 

View your end customer information including name, shipping address, email address and phone number (if exists). This information can be edited only until the order is picked, once the order is picked a lock icon will appear on the top-right side of the panel and you can no longer edit or make any changes to the order.

In this panel, you can view the following shipping details:

  • Ship Option 
  • Fulfillment Center
  • Order Type
  • Delivery Method
  • Label Type 
  • Insurance Value, read more here

You can only edit the following fields: Fulfillment Center and Insurance Value. This information can be edited only until the order is picked, once the order is picked a lock icon will appear on the top-right side of the panel and you can no longer edit or make any changes to the order. 

Order Import Details 

This panel displays information about the order source, import date, store shipping method, and store order ID (if exists).

Attachments

Here you can view and download the following attachments: 

  • Packing slip 
  • Shipping label (only appear after the order is labeled)

You can also upload attachments if needed. Attachments can be uploaded only until the order is picked, once the order is picked a lock icon will appear on the top-right side of the panel and you can no longer edit or make any changes to the order. 

Note: You can't remove attachments.
